The Solution Delivery Architect supports global projects and works directly with the Sales Solution Architects and Strategic Consultants to develop the client road map and become the client’s trusted advisor. Key responsibilities and deliverables in the sales cycle include working inside the organization as well as with clients to identify key business issues, ROI targets, KPIs (key performance indicators), overall client solution approach, estimates, timelines, and high-level milestones. This position will be the subject matter expert within a particular vertical industry. After a project starts, the Solution Delivery Architect will bring their industry expertise to the Global Design and Solution Build phases, driving BPR (business process reengineering) project efforts, as well as understanding and utilizing industry best practices for the project. They are the ‘thought leaders’ for the delivery team – they take the strategic vision created in the sales cycle and work with the project team to develop a realized solution. In addition, the Solution Delivery Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining the Infor reference architecture for key vertical industries.

Revenue & Execution – Results oriented, achieve team utilization, team revenue and team margin targets. Ability to estimate projects accurately. Anticipate client needs. Influence others to get what you want/need (i.e. other departments). Effectively manage schedule and individual resource utilization. This position is revenue generating and is expected to be billable at least 50% of the time.
Sales and Admin – work with Sales Solution Architects and Strategic Consultants to develop and support global client services solution roadmap.
Communication & Documentation – Efficiently, effectively and appropriately establish and manage expectations through verbal and written communication. Demonstrate the ability to effectively listen and comprehend. Key participant in developing, maintaining and sharing vertical industry reference architectures.
Personal Development – Subject matter expert and thought leader within key vertical industries. Keep current as to new developments, best practices, industry trends and new innovations.
Client Satisfaction – Serve as trusted advisor to client. Responsible for balancing the overall satisfaction of the client while effectively representing both the client and Infor’s best interests. Work with project team to achieve high levels of client satisfaction. Be able to measure the effectiveness of the client end solution against the roadmap developed in the sales cycle.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- College Graduate w/ 4 yr degree - Business, computer science, process engineering preferred
preferred skills & KNOWLEDGE:
- Minimum 5 years industry experience in targeted verticals or commensurate experience in software consulting services
- Prior Experience implementing software solutions
- Knowledge of structured Business Process Reengineering techniques
- No travel restrictions – estimated 50-75%
- Strong project estimating skills, industry expertise or certification preferred
