SUMMARY:
A Software Architect candidate position is open for Infor’s CRM Business application product development team. The candidate must be able to transform requirements into a set of architecture and design documents and lead design initiatives for the development of Infor’s CRM Business product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Solutions Architect would have 10 years of experience in implementing and architecting solutions with the past 3+ years focused on Salesforce.com. The person would have experience architecting cross platform solutions including integrating SFDC with legacy/external applications, enabling single sign on and employing data quality improvement tools. In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application coupled with good understanding of the business processes (Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Order Management, Quote Management, etc.,) is key. The person must have excellent exposure to and experience in SFDC Configuration, Apex coding, Visual Force, Web Services and Data Management. The person would have developed excellent problem solving, proactive thinking and analytical skills. Solid understanding of the SFDC Data model and Data is a must.
The Software Architect is responsible for transforming the requirements into a set of architecture and design documents that can be used by the rest of the team to implement a solution. A successful candidate must be able to lead, analyze, and review architecture and design initiatives for the development of Infor’s CRM Business product. Additional responsibilities include mentoring software engineers, communicating design, architecture concepts to all levels of management, and the ability to address software reusability. A candidate possessing a solid understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) approach toward application development is a plus. This candidate will be the technical lead of Infor’s SFDC development team in Hyderabad and liaison with Lead and Product Management in NA.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· 4 years Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related area
· Masters in Computer Science is a plus
· 10+ years software architecture/design experience of enterprise architecture/data related disciplines, i.e. data modeling, architecture, and integration
· 3+ years of SFDC architecture, consulting and implementation experience
· Completed more than one full life-cycle Salesforce.com implementations
· 2+ years in a Technical Lead role
PREFERRED Skills:
· Expert knowledge of Salesforce.com (Accounts, Sales Orders, Quotes etc.) and force.com
· Leading multiple projects through SDLC with significant # of these involving integrating Salesforce with ERP, financial or any other systems
· Expert knowledge in working with XML/XMLT, XSD, SOAP, Web services
· APEX programming / VMforce
· AppExchange applications
· Workflows
· Technical background in programming languages and web-based applications
· Knowledge of data migration & integration tools and methodologies
· APIs & Web Services
· ETL tools

DESIRED SKILLS:
