Job Description

 

Purpose:

To manage and sell Infor’s finance solutions to approximately 10 designed customers that already have a footprint of Infor products.  Develop a solution strategy that will generate new Licence, Service and Support revenue for Infor.  Ticket sales can vary from £10k to £1m+.

 

Under the Office of Finance, Infor has a solution set for the CFO.  The main product is the leading edge product called SunSystems and this has a large base globally.  The position needs an individual to be based in the SE England and relatively close to Farnborough, Hampshire.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Meet or exceed Licence Sales Targets
  2. Build up a good relationship with the installed base at the CXO level
  3. Understand and articulate the value proposition of our solutions under the Office of Finance.  A knowledge of processes within the finance department and applying our solution set to a complex customer is an important aspect to this role
  4. Work with Marketing to drive business
  5. Disseminate Product information to existing customers

 

All of the above to be in line with company procedure and performance standards.

 

 

Person Specification

 

Key Competencies: (E= Essential, D= Desirable)

  1. Accounting qualification or MBA (D)
  2. Experience of detailed account planning and managing a key Infor customer (E)
  3. Knowledge of processes within the Office of Finance (E)
  4. Proven Track record in sales in the Financial Software Industry (E) and/or BI
  5. Ability to sell at all levels within the business (E)
  6. Experience in a solutions orientated sales role in the Enterprise Application Software or Business Intelligence markets (E)
  7. Account Director that can be self-sufficient ie self-starter (E)
  8. Ability to work in a matrix organisation (D)
  9. Ability to work with internal systems and to maintain an accurate forecast online (E)
  10. Well organised and self-directed, strong team player/contributor (E)
