Job Title: Sr. HR Analyst

 

Location: Mexico City, D.F.

 

Reporting line: LA HR Manager

 

Basic Purpose
Performs various moderately human resources duties with focus in payroll, personnel administration and benefits, sometimes will acting in recruiting, employment, compensation, employee relations, or other special projects. Operates under moderate supervision, with some review of work in progress. Requires at least three years of professional HR experience.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate all HR Local and Regional programs in the Mexican Legal Entity.

 
Ensures that personnel policies and procedures are followed.  Coordinates payroll process with the third party (feed payroll to partner, validate partner information, coordinate cash flow with Finance etc).
 
Performs duties in recruiting, employment, compensation, benefits, training, and other HR related tasks as needed.
 
Serves as a contact for employees.  Answers questions regarding policies and procedures.  Assists in resolving personnel-related problems.
 
Conducts various special studies and prepares various personnel reports, as needed.
 
Recommends procedural changes that will improve the functioning of the personnel area. 
 
 
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, economy, production engineering or liberal arts (psychology, sociology, etc.), industrial relations or organizational development.

+ Five years of experience in HR generalist functions (personnel and payroll administration, recruiting, employment, employee relations, training etc.).

Must be fluent in English.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Good knowledge of HR/personnel practices and principles, and all applicable labor, pay, benefits, health and safety laws and regulations.  Able to handle high level of confidentiality and common sense regarding employee information. Good planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, organization and interpersonal skills.  Must be self-managed, disciplined and have all level of initiative.

 

Equipment and Applications
PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands
General office environment.  Some stress may occur.  No special physical demands required.

Reporting Structure
This position typically reports to the HR Regional Manager located in São Paulo, Brazil.
