POSITION: Infor Consulting Services (ICS) Sales Representative (Infor Distribution Business, formerly SX.enterprise) LOCATION: Remote TRAVEL: 80% Basic Purpose Actively position and sell service solutions to net new and existing clients within a defined territory / region. Develop and deliver detailed statement of work agreements to clients. Typically reports to a Senior Services Director or Regional Vice President. Four to 10 years of experience in product knowledge, and / or distribution knowledge optimal. Consulting sales and delivery within a service organization is required. Specific tasks include: • Work actively with License Sales Executives, Service Management, Business Consultants, and / or third parties / partners to design implementation estimates based on discovery sessions for each prospective opportunity. • Build a trusted advisor relationship with the client / prospect. • Develop strong relationships with clients from the business manager to the CIO level. • Work closely with Infor consulting services personnel regarding implementation plans, estimates and resources and position Infor’s Implementation Methodology (OPIM) selling resources necessary to successfully implement Infor products. • Responsible for the end to end service solutions process presented to the client. • Proactively work with the delivery team to monitor progress through the delivery of the project and provide tactical management during the project as required. • Work closely with Infor’s Contract, Legal Counsel and Revenue teams to ensure complete execution of all services contractual agreements. • Frequent communication with clients to assess satisfaction level with services and license products with a constant focus on customer satisfaction. • Attainment of quarterly and annual service sales bookings quota. • Responsible for bi-monthly reports outlining business pipeline opportunities and / or changes. • Must be organized and able to handle all administrative tasks independently (e.g. travel schedule and bookings, expense report preparation, contract submissions and deal training, etc.) Essential Education, Skills, and Environment Education and Work Experience Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or computer science. Usually requires four to ten years of experience in Consulting Sales, Services, or other relevant experience, including three to five years of practical consulting or project management with ERP Distribution implementations. Specialized Knowledge and Skills • Excellent negotiation, writing, editing, communications and presentation skills. Able to professionally discuss project planning and articulate issues and solutions with clients. • Has positive attitude, displays “can do” attitude – is willing and able to display confidence in an ever changing and unpredictable environment. • Willing to work in a collegial environment • Is able to form effective network of contacts with other Infor departments, clients and third parties, etc. • Strategic selling skills helpful. • Very strong leadership qualities and team oriented business values. Work Environment and Physical Demands • Willing to travel as required. • Willing to adjust work schedule to fit the requirements of the work at hand. • Must be prepared to work within a wide variety of work environments, ability to work with tight deadlines, and on multiple projects simultaneously. Reporting Structure This position typically reports to the VP of ICS Distribution JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Participate in all aspects of the sales cycle with the Account Team. • Ongoing follow-up with existing clients to understand their business needs and sell additional services. • Conform to all services pricing, legal and contract requirements, and follow revenue rules as mandated by Infor. • Develop strong relationships with clients from the business manager to the CIO level, and internal services, sales personnel. • Present solutions to clients conforming to Infor’s Implementation Methodology (OPIM). • Responsible for the end to end service solutions process presented to the client. • Attainment of quarterly and annual service sales bookings quota. • Responsible for bi-monthly reports outlining business pipeline opportunities and / or changes.
