Job Description

 

Purpose:

To manage and sell our Financial Management suite to specific verticals to an installed base in the UK.  The Account Manager is to manage all opportunities into various vertical markets.  Develop a solution strategy that will generate new Licence, Service and Support revenue for Infor.

 

Under the Office of Finance, Infor has a solution set for the CFO.  The main product is the leading edge product called SunSystems and this has a large base globally.  The position needs an individual to be based in the SE England and relatively close to Farnborough, Hampshire.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Meet or exceed Licence Sales Targets
  2. Build up a good relationship with the installed base
  3. Understand and articulate the value proposition of our solutions under the Office of Finance
  4. Work with Marketing to drive business
  5. Disseminate Product information to existing customers

 

All of the above to be in line with company procedure, and performance standards.

 

 

Person Specification

 

Key Competencies: (E= Essential, D= Desirable)

  1. Accounting qualification or MBA (D)
  2. Proven Track record in Sales in the Financial Software Industry (E) and/or BI
  3. Ideally knowledge of SunSystems
  4. Ability to sell at all levels within the business (E)
  5. Experience in a solutions orientated sales role in the Enterprise Application Software or Business Intelligence markets (E)
  6. Account Manager that can be self-sufficient ie self-starter (E)
  7. Ability to work in a matrix organisation (D)
  8. Ability to work with internal systems and to maintain an accurate forecast online (E)
  9. Well organised and self-directed, strong team player/contributor (E)
