RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all aspects of Compliance cases from point of receiving audit findings to resolution
- Prepare for interaction with customer(s) by:
o reviewing audit findings
o reading through all contracts and related emails/correspondence
o search customer’s website for relevant information
o debriefing with the auditor
- Determine appropriate remedy for newly assigned non-compliance case
- Keep abreast of all software compliance rules and regulations
- Be familiar with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirement for corporation’s software compliance
- Research assigned cases for pertinent company info: public/private, size, and financial situation
- Discuss remedy with sales (AE, RVP or VP) to seek input on potential objections and confirm pricing
- Set up calls with customers to communicate non-compliance situation, present remedy, and work to gain closure as quickly as possible
- Ensure sales order, addendum changes, revenue recognition is handled quickly and appropriately
- Document status and forecast resolution date and revenue on a regular basis
- Close deals requiring excellent negotiation skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- College degree required or equivalent experience considered
- 3 - 5 years experience inside or direct software sales role within the software industry
- Experience in selling software applications through the phone
- Special consideration for knowledge/experience in software compliance

- Proven ‘achiever’ with ability to maintain records and organize own work schedule
- Experience managing daily activities and driving deals through a proven sales methodology
- Strong interpersonal skills that set high standards for performance and promotes teamwork across organizational boundaries
- Positive attitude, confident approach to work that promotes positive customer interaction
- Ability to manage job activities related to each case through to resolution
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to read contracts within limited timeframes and recommend resolution
- Must be able to perform in emotionally charged situations
- Able to maintain stable performance and daily work flow management under pressure
- Multi-lingual is mandatory (German and English and any other language would be a plus)
