POSITION: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
SUMMARY:
Senior Business Analyst position on the Corporate Performance Management (CPM) product development team. The person in this position will be responsible for imagining and specifying new products, features, and functionality in the CPM product suite. The successful candidate will also be responsible for communicating with internal and external users of the product to educate these stakeholders and get their feedback on product functionality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Build prototypes and write specifications for attractive, eye-catching web-based user interfaces
· Develop and maintain knowledge of cutting-edge user interface trends, and apply that knowledge to new and existing PM UI’s
· Work with field staff, prospects and customers to learn their expectations of the user interfaces we deliver
· Support and actively participate in product testing to ensure delivered product meets customer needs
· Communicate product release plans and current capabilities to all areas within the organization, as well as to external stakeholders
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business (Accounting or Finance preferred)
Required Skills:
· 3-5 years of experience designing or implementing enterprise financial systems
· Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and as a presenter
· Creative approach to problem solving and issue resolution
· Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical ability
Preferred Certifications/Skills:
· CPA
· Experience with businesses in the public sector and/or healthcare markets
· Experience with multidimensional and planning/budgeting/forecasting systems
