POSITION: Application Consultant
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing leadership in the implementation of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software and associated business processes. Duties are usually performed at customer’s site. Operates under minimal supervision on complex projects and typically reports to a Professional Services Senior Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes customers’ asset management and maintenance management business requirements. Designs business processes and configures EAM to meet customers’ needs. Conducts End User Training and assists with Start-Up Support and System Administration. Prepares weekly status reports on all project activities. Acts as a liaison between customers and the company. Serves as pre-sales and post-sales technical support specialist when needed. Readiness to travel up to 80% (home on weekends)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or computer science is preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in management consulting including business process redesign
- At least 2 years of experience in asset management operations or system implementation is preferred
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent communication, presentation, organization and planning skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to work as a team member and customer liaison. Proficient PC skills. Professional appearance and presentation required. PCs, spreadsheets and various other software applications used as required. Usually requires six to nine years of experience in EAM/CMMS consulting, other similar application consulting or technical product support General office environment.
